About Tennessee Foundation Repair

What we provide

Two things. First, practical, sourced information for Tennessee homeowners, landlords, property managers, and buyers and sellers: the warning signs of foundation problems, what tends to cause them in Tennessee, how the common repairs work, what they typically cost, when an independent structural engineer makes sense, and how Tennessee licenses contractors. Our sources include the U.S. Geological Survey, NOAA, the U.S. Census Bureau, the Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors, the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency, and published cost data.

Second, a phone number. When you call it, your call is routed to a participating independent foundation repair contractor who serves your area, if one is available.

Foundation inquiries we support

• Foundation repair in general
• Foundation crack repair
• Foundation settlement repair and stabilization
• Foundation piers and underpinning
• Crawl space structural repair
• Bowing basement wall repair

Not every service is available in every location, and participating contractors offer different services. Related work such as waterproofing, basement drainage, or crawl space encapsulation may not be available through every referral. Confirm the specific service when you're connected.

How contractor matching works

1. You call (865) 276-7293 and describe where the property is and what you're seeing.
2. Your call is routed to a participating independent foundation repair contractor who covers your area, when one is available.
3. You deal with that contractor directly. They evaluate the house, recommend a repair, quote the price, and perform any work you agree to under their own business name, license, insurance, and warranty. There is no obligation to hire them.

What we don't do

• We don't inspect, diagnose, certify, or repair foundations, employ crews or structural engineers, operate construction equipment, or keep offices in Tennessee.
• We don't hold a contractor license, and we're not affiliated with the Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors, any engineering board, or any government agency.
• We don't verify, license, or insure participating contractors, and we don't claim any of them is licensed, insured, or an engineer. Ask each contractor, and check the state's license verification search.
• We don't guarantee availability, response times, free inspections, costs, or permanent results.
• We don't publish reviews, ratings, or project photos we can't verify. Images on this site are illustrative, not photos of work by us or any contractor.
